Why I’m Buying A Park City Rental Property...And Why You Should Too
Sep 14, 2018
This blog is a repeat of a blog I wrote 2 years ago. Since that time, we purchased another Park City condominium. A few weeks ago, I helped some of my favorite clients purchase an investment condo near Kimball Junction. The rental market is very strong in Park City. Now is a great time to buy a condo in Park City, before the ski season starts and the prices go up.
Should an Electric Bike be Your Summer Car?
Jul 25, 2018
Park City has long been a hub for world class mountain bike single track. But in recent years, the addition of paved trails and bike lanes throughout town has also made it a haven for bike commuting for both exercise and practical purposes.
Still, one of the limitations to bike commuting in Park City has always been the hills. We Parkites are generally a fit people, so it’s not that we can’t handle the hills. It’s just that nobody wants to arrive to their destination sweaty in the hot July heat.
Seller Beware: Obstacles to a Successful Real Estate Sale
Jun 27, 2018
To say this has been a challenging year as a REALTOR® is an understatement. Today’s market is different from any other I have experienced in my 15 years helping clients buy and sell real estate. Why?
The economy is robust
Interest rates are historically low
There is a shortage of inventory (homes for sale)
Buyers are frantic to find the right home but at the same time know they are paying top dollar creating a lack of confidence
Sellers know the market is hot and are being extremely aggressive on pricing
The combination of these factors has resulted in a new and challenging phenomenon: buyers are putting a home under contract before they are certain they want to actually buy it. As I wrote about in a prior article, home sales are falling through.

The Park City Board of Realtors also released their year end statistics in the form of a press release.
Taken out of context, these numbers will not tell the story of our real estate market. I have been studying the Park City real estate market for 15 years, and this intimate knowledge gives me a deeper understanding of market trends.

My 9 Favorite Park City Condominiums
Jan 31, 2018
This blog is an opinion piece. I’ve explained the reason behind why each is among my favorite Park City condominiums. If you agree or disagree with my choices, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
I always show these properties when they meet my clients’ purchasing criteria. Why? Because I believe they are the best value in their class. In fact, I’ve done real estate transactions in nearly all of these developments. I’ll explain a little about each. Let me know if I can provide more details about any of these condos or show you the units that are currently available. Generally, there is scarcity in all of these projects except for Juniper Landing and Viridian, which are new construction.
